Loyal Companion Competition/Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

  1. The Organiser of the competition (‘the Competition’) and Data Controller for the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (‘GDPR’) and other applicable data protection law is OneSavings Bank plc, including Kent Reliance for Intermediaries, trading name of OneSavings Bank plc, registered office at Reliance House, Sun Pier, Chatham, ME4 4ET (‘the Organiser’). Any correspondence in relation to the Competition should be sent to the following email address: updates@kentrelianceforintermediaries.co.uk
  2. The Competition is open only to individuals over the age of 18 years who are currently working in the United Kingdom as either a mortgage intermediary, employee of a mortgage club, network or packager, or an employee of OneSavings Bank plc.
  3. The Competition is free to enter and no purchase is necessary to enter, however internet access is required.
  4. The Competition will open at 8 am on Monday 30th November 2020 (the ‘Opening Date’) and close at 8 pm on Sunday 20th December 2020 (‘the Closing Date’). Entries received after that time will not be considered.
  5. The Organiser does not accept responsibility for entries not submitted due to a technical fault of any kind.
  6. 10 prizes are available:
    1. 6 x £100 Amazon gift cards to be awarded to mortgage brokers;
    2. 2 x £100 Amazon gift cards to be awarded to employees of mortgage clubs, networks or packagers; and
    3. 2 x £100 Amazon gift cards to be awarded to employees of OneSavings Bank plc (together the ‘Prizes’). 
  7. Entrants should refer to the terms and conditions (see below) of the Prize provider before entering the Competition. The Organiser is not responsible for the Prizes or any issues relating to the booking or use of the Prize

  8. The Organiser reserves the right at its absolute discretion to reject any entries if they are deemed to be inappropriate or offensive by the Organiser.
  9. To enter the Competition, entrants must:
    1. Share a photo of their lockdown companion on LinkedIn, tagging the Kent Reliance for Intermediaries company profile - https://www.linkedin.com/showcase/17875310

  10. If an entry is not submitted in accordance with paragraph 9 above, it will be rejected and will not be entered into the draw.
  11. Photographs must be owned by the person entering the draw, meaning they have taken the photograph or have the express permission of the photographer.
  12. Entrant should have the necessary consents/permission of all people depicted in the photo, to share that photo with the Organiser and also in the public domain. Entrants may wish to read LinkedIn’s terms and conditions with regard to photographs and intellectual property before entering the draw.
  13. Copyright in all images submitted for this Competition remains with the respective entrants. However, in consideration of their submission to the Competition, each entrant grants a worldwide, irrevocable, perpetual licence to the Organiser to feature any or all of the submitted images in any of their publications, their websites and/or in any promotional material connected to this Competition.
  14. Only one entry per entrant can be entered into the draw. Multiple entries from the same entrant will be disqualified.
  15. The winner(s) will be chosen on Tuesday 22nd December 2020 by using a computer process that produces verifiably random results.
  16. The winner(s) will be notified by email no later than the 31st December 2020 and must provide an email address. The Prize will be sent to the email address provided by the winner. Should a winner fail to provide their email address within 14 days of being contacted by the Organiser, the Prize will be forfeited.
  17. All entrants who fulfil the criteria detailed above at paragraph 9 will have an equal chance of winning the draw.
  18. The Prizes may not be exchanged for cash or any other payment or discount and are not transferable.
  19. The Organiser reserves the right to withdraw the Prize(s) or substitute for one of equivalent value if for any reason beyond its control the original Prize(s) becomes unavailable. Any changes will be displayed on the Organiser’s intranet page.
  20. The Organiser’s decision on all matters relating to the Draw is final. No correspondence will be entered into about such decisions.
  21. The Organiser reserves the right to terminate or suspend the Competition at any time without notice.
  22. By entering this Competition, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions.
  23. The Organiser will process the personal data of the entrants (name, email, business postcode, business name and occupation) in accordance with its obligations pursuant to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection law for the purposes of the administration of the Competition.

  25. The entrants and winner(s) may be asked to take part in reasonable event publicity and for their name and photographs to be used in such publicity. The entrants and winner(s) will be given the chance to object to such publication, or ask for less information to be published.
  26. If any entrant and/or winner wishes to withdraw their consent for use of their name and image for the above purposes at any stage, they should contact the Organiser at updates@kentrelianceforintermediaries.co.uk. This will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out by the Organiser before the entrant withdraws their consent.
  27. The winners surname and county of residence will be available 14 days after Sunday 20th December 2020 by emailing the following address updates@kentrelianceforintermediaries.co.uk.
  28. All entry instructions form part of these terms and conditions.
  29. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the Prizes to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
  30. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction in respect of any dispute arising in relation to the Competition.
