Valentine’s Quiz Terms and Conditions

  1. The Organiser of the competition (‘the Competition’) and Data Controller for the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (‘GDPR’) and other applicable data protection law is Kent Reliance for Intermediaries, trading name of OneSavings Bank plc, registered office at Reliance House, Sun Pier, Chatham, ME4 4ET (‘the Organiser’).   2. The Competition is open only to individuals over the age of 18 years who are currently working in the United Kingdom as a mortgage brokers or mortgage distributors.
  3. The Competition is free to enter and no purchase is necessary to enter the Competition, however internet access is required.
  4. The Competition will open at 8am on Monday 8th February 2021 (the ‘Opening Date’) and close at 8pm on Thursday 11th February 2021 (‘the Closing Date’). Entries received after that time will not be considered
  5. The Organiser does not accept responsibility for entries not submitted due to a technical fault of any kind.
  6. 5 prizes are available:
    1. 5 x £50 Just Eat gift cards (together the ‘Prizes’).
  7. Entrants should refer to the terms and conditions (see below) of the Prize provider before entering the Competition. The Organiser is not responsible for the contents of the food or any issues relating to the use of the Prize
  8. The Prizes are subject to availability.
  9. The Organiser reserves the right at its absolute discretion to reject any entries if they are deemed to be inappropriate or offensive by the Organiser.
  10. To enter the Competition, entrants must:
    1. Visit from the Opening Date until the Closing Date for the Competition.
    2. Complete the quiz and submit the answers before the Closing date

  12. If an entry is not submitted in accordance with paragraph 10 above, it will be rejected and will not be entered into the Competition.
  13. The winner of the Competition will be selected from all valid entries with the correct answers between the Opening Date and Closing Date by using a computer process that produces verifiably random results.
  14. Only 1 entry per individual can be submitted. Multiple entries from the same individual will be disqualified.
  15. The winner will be notified by email no later than one week after the Closing Date and must provide a delivery address. The Prize will be sent to the delivery address provided by the winner. Should the winner fail to provide their delivery address within 14 days of being contacted by the Organiser, the Prizes will be forfeited and the Organiser shall be entitled to select an alternative winner from the Competition.
  16. All entrants who fulfil the criteria detailed above at paragraph 10 will have an equal chance of winning the Competition.
  17. The Prizes may not be exchanged for cash or any other payment or discount and are not transferable.
  18. The Organiser’s decision on all matters relating to the Competition is final. No correspondence will be entered into about such decisions.
  19. The Competition is not open to employees of the Organiser, or any of their families.
  20. The Competition is not sponsored, endorsed, administered or associated with LinkedIn or any other Social Network
  21. The Organiser reserves the right to terminate or suspend the Competition at any time without notice.
  22. By entering this Competition, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions.

The Organiser will process the personal data of the entrants (name, email, business postcode, business name and occupation) in accordance with its obligations pursuant to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection law for the purposes of the administration of the Competition.

  25. The winner may be asked to take part in reasonable post event publicity and for their name and photographs to be used in such publicity. The winner will be given the chance to object to such publication, or ask for less information to be published.

If any entrant and/or winner wishes to withdraw their consent for use of their name and image for the above purposes at any stage, they should contact the Organiser at This will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out by the Organiser before the entrant withdraws their consent.

  29. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the Prize(s) to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
  30. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction in respect of any dispute arising in relation to the Competition.
