Terms and Conditions Competition/Draw – MAB Conference – Coin Pusher Game

  1. The Organiser of this competition (‘the Competition’) and Data Controller for the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (‘GDPR’) and other applicable data protection law is OneSavings Bank plc or one of its subsidiaries registered office Reliance House, Sun Pier, Chatham, ME4 4ET (‘the Organiser’), Any correspondence in relation to the Competition should be sent to the following email address: events@osb.co.uk
  2. The Competition is open only to individuals over the age of 18 years who are currently working in the United Kingdom as a mortgage intermediary.
  3. The Competition is free to enter and no purchase is necessary to enter the Competition.
  4. Participants may only attempt the game once at any one time.
  5. The Competition will open at 9:00am on Friday 10th November 2023 (the ‘Opening Date’) and close at 1.30pm on Friday 10th November 2023 (the ‘Closing Date’).  Entries received after that time will not be considered.
  6. Any entries that are incomplete, illegible or do not arrive within the specified time frame will not be accepted by the organiser.
  7. The Organiser does not accept responsibility for entries not submitted due to a technical fault of any kind. 
  8. The prizes are:
    • 1 x £50 love2shop voucher
    • 20 x £10 love2shop vouchers
  1. Entrants should refer to the terms and conditions (see below) of the Prize provider before entering the Competition. The Organiser is not responsible for any issues relating to the booking or use of the Prizes.
  1. The Organiser reserves the right at its absolute discretion to reject any entries if they are deemed to be inappropriate or offensive by the Organiser. The decision of the Organiser is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  2. To enter the Competition, entrants must;
    1. Visit the Organiser’s stand at the MAB conference; and
    2. Follow the instructions on how to play the ‘Coin Pusher’ game set on the Organiser’s Exhibition stand which will be located on location 31 in the exhibition hall; and
    3. Participate in the ‘Coin Pusher’ game which involves putting 3 plastic coins into the coin pusher machine, and aiming to knock off a token which is representative of a prize
    4. Entrants who win a pink or purple token will win a £10 voucher and the winner of the golden token will win the £50 voucher.
  3. If an entry is not submitted in accordance with paragraph 11 above, it will be rejected and will not be entered into the Draw.
  4. The winners will be determined on 10th November 2023 and will be given their prize immediately.
  5. All entrants who fulfil the criteria detailed above at paragraph 11 will have an equal chance of winning the Competition.
  6. The Prize(s) may not be exchanged for cash or any other payment or discount and are not transferable. No other costs will be covered.
  7. The Organiser reserves the right to withdraw the Prize(s) or substitute for one of equivalent value if for any reason beyond its control the original Prize(s) becomes unavailable. Any changes will be displayed on the Organiser’s internet page.
  8. The Organiser’s decision on all matters relating to the Competition is final. No correspondence will be entered into about such decisions.
  9. The Competition is not open to employees of the Organiser, or any of their families.
  10. The Organiser reserves the right to terminate or suspend the Competition at any time without notice.
  11. The Organiser accepts no responsibility for any entries not received, or for undelivered or delayed messages which were unable to be sent or received due to technical failure or any other reason beyond its control. No responsibility will be accepted by the Organiser for failed, partial or garbled computer transmissions, for any computer, telephone, cable, network, electronic or internet hardware or software malfunctions, failures, connections, availability, for the acts or omissions of any service provider, internet, accessibility or availability or for traffic congestion or unauthorised human act.
  12. By entering this Competition, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions.
  13. The Organiser will process the personal data of the entrants (name, email, business postcode and business name) in accordance with its obligations pursuant to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection law for the purposes of the administration of the Competition.

  15. The entrants and winners may be asked to take part in reasonable post event publicity and for their name and photographs to be used in such publicity. The entrants and winners will be given the chance to object to such publication, or ask for less information to be published.
  16. If any entrant and/or winner wishes to withdraw their consent for use of their name and image for the above purposes at any stage, they should contact the Organiser at events@osb.co.uk. This will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out by the Organiser before the entrant withdraws their consent.
  17. The winners surname and county of residence will be available 14 days after 10th November 2023 by emailing the following address events@osb.co.uk.
  18. The Organiser reserves the right to vary, cancel or modify the Competition and/or the terms and conditions at any time and for whatever reason and/or amend or withdraw the Competition and/or any related prizes) in whole or in part at any time due to unforeseen circumstances. The Organiser is also entitled to vary the prize(s) if, due to unforeseen circumstances it becomes impossible to provide the prizes as described or in its opinion, it would be inappropriate in any way. In that event, a prize of equal or greater value will be offered.
  19. All entry instructions form part of these terms and conditions.
  20. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the Prize(s) to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
  21. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction in respect of any dispute arising in relation to the Competition.
